Demo Day - Saturday, July 24th
Weather permitting, there will be a demo day on the causeway near Red Dot from 8-1. We will have kayaks, canoes and Stand Up Paddleboard/Kayak hybrids available to test paddle or pole.

New Kayak Kamp for Kids From May31st through Aug. 6th. These are all one day classes
Basic paddling & Water Safety Class: Mondays from 9 til noon. Kids will learn proper paddling techniques and water safety. Class including kayak, Personal Floatation Device, paddle. Cost for this class is $55.00.
Basic Fishing: Tuesdays 9am to noon this class will teach the fundimentals of fishing, knots, artificial baits. Class cost $55.00 Jerry B's will provide all equipment.

Fly Tying and Casting: Thrusdays 9am to noon this class will teach the fundimentals of fly tying, knots, equipment and basic fly casting. Class cost $55.00 Jerry B's will provide all equipment and fly tying material.
Advanced paddling, includes Self rescue: Fridays from 9 til noon. For this class students must have attened one of the Basic Paddling classes.Students will learn advanced paddling techniques along with self rescue and buddy rescue. Class including kayak, Personal Floatation Device, paddle. Cost for this class is $55.00.

Dress: Dress appropriate to the weather. Items to consider may be: SUNBLOCK Lip balm Hat Sunglasses with sports strap Water shoes (no flip flops – people tend to lose them) Swim trunks or other types of water shorts/shirts (long sleeve & quick dry are best) Towel Change of clothes Misc: Other items of interest, depending on your personal needs: WATER or other hydrating liquid (e.g. Gatorade or sports drink) Snacks (if you need) Medicine (for example, if you are allergic to bee stings, are diabetic, have asthma, etc.) Please notify an instructor if you may have need for these items during the class. Jerry B's Kayaks will be out on Padre Island Saturday Sept. 4th supporting Paddle for Parkinsons Kayak & Stand-up Board Relay Sponsored by Catch The Cure. org This relay comprises four legs, the first two are approximately one mile each and the second two are approximately two miles each, therefore a total of +/-six miles. Laguna Madre Fly Fishers of Corpus Christi
For those of you who would like to learn or improve your fly fishing skills we will be holding our meetings on the second Thrusday of each month at 7 pm.
